In addition to the annual book sale, The Friends now have an ongoing sale area set up in a corner of the library. It includes books and magazines, and the stock is rotated frequently to keep things current. Information on the Friends organization is also available there. The 2018 Holiday basket/book sale gets underway Saturday, November 10th, in conjunction with the Germantown Christmas festivities kick-off. This annual event features a wide variety of themed baskets, along with books for gift-giving. See more information on the holiday sale page.
Upcoming in March will be the Friends’ annual book sale. Dates for this year’s sale are March 22-25, with the preview night for Friends and volunteers and GCL staff on Wednesday, March 21, and regular sale March 22-25. Hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. March 22, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. March 23, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 24 and 12 noon-4 p.m. March 25. Mark your calendars and plan to attend.
